Universiti Malaysia Sarawak or known as UNIMAS has using the old system or manual system for a long time. So, UNIMAS has decided to change the current system with a new automated system so that easier for students to make a reservation for equipment regarding on their projects or assignments.

They can easily contact students who have not returned equipments
Can use as evidence and reference if the equipment might not have returned on time

E-equipment is one of the new system that replaced the old systems in Unimas, Sarawak. Purpose of this system is to say no more waiting for days to approve and having bad day by doing long procedures for booking the equipment!
